Yelling at a rally of climate change activists, teenage environmental guru Greta Thunberg led them in astonishingly articulate chants directed at those who did not do her bidding regarding the climate, yelling, “No more blah, blah, blah!”
If that weren’t enough, Thunberg added some choice language, yelling, “No more whatever the f** they’re doing inside there!”
“No more exploitation of people and nature and the planet,” screamed Thunberg.
Former Nevada GOP chairwoman Amy Tarkanian summed up, “Seems whoever was funding Operation Greta Thunberg cut the speechwriting department as she now just screams ‘blah blah blah’ and even uses obscene profanities to get her ‘point’ across. @GretaThunberg, try to do better. The profanity isn’t a good look.”

In August, The New York Times published an essay by “youth climate activists” led by Thunberg that lectured adults about climate change, pompously charging, “Young people like us have been sounding this alarm for years. You just haven’t listened.” They added, “We are the ones who will have to clean up the mess you adults have made.”
“Today, millions of children and young people have united in a movement with one voice, demanding that decision makers do the work necessary to save our planet from the unprecedented heat waves, massive floods and vast wildfires we are increasingly witnessing. Our protest will not end until the inaction does,” the youth activists threatened.
Then they segued into a direct attack on adults: “For children and young people, climate change is the single greatest threat to our futures. We are the ones who will have to clean up the mess you adults have made, and we are the ones who are more likely to suffer now.”
“The fundamental goal of the adults in any society is to protect their young and do everything they can to leave a better world than the one they inherited. The current generation of adults, and those that came before, are failing at a global scale,” they lectured.
They concluded, “We are in a crisis of crises. A pollution crisis. A climate crisis. A children’s rights crisis. We will not allow the world to look away.”
“Among the powerful things about this choice of [Thunberg] is that she doesn’t believe in the fantasy of the ‘win-win,’” tweeted TIME editor-at-large Anand Giridharadas. “She is telling us that real change is costly, real change requires giving things up, the loss of power and privilege, new systems, new ways of life.”
“She isn’t just inspirational, and she isn’t just talking about the planet, as big as that is! She is indicting an entire way of life, and a way of telling ourselves we are making a difference when we are not,” he added.
In April 2019, speaking before the European Parliament, Thunberg lectured European politicians about climate change with apocalyptic passion, saying, “I want you to panic.”
Thunberg stated, “I want you to act as if the house is on fire. I have said those words before, and a lot of people have explained why that is a bad idea. A great number of politicians have told me that panic never leads to anything good, and I agree. To panic, unless you have to, is a terrible idea. But when your house is on fire and you want to keep your house from burning to the ground, then that does require some level of panic …”
